唤醒- 杨鸿记于2009年4月25日晨2009年3月2日，多伦多作曲家、钢琴家William Lavigne给我来了封电邮，说他已完成了他的一张个人专辑CD的录制，希望用我拍摄的照片作CD的封面、封底。这张名为「Awakening」 的CD中所有的曲子，是由他本人创作并演奏的。 这位我从未相识的音乐家，是在我的摄影网站上看到我的照片，他说：“Your photography is beautiful and inspiring! The music is solo piano and very contemplative in nature. I think this photo would really be appropriate."被William Lavigne先生选中的两张照片，是在去年6月30日的清晨，我在安省Grundy Lake拍摄的。 自将照片的原件发给William后，我便一直期待着能早日聆听他的音乐。 我相信大多数设计人都是夜猫子，他们的创作灵感往往在深夜迸发。与他们不同，我是个实足的Early Bird，清晨才是我的高峰期。对我而言，背负着一天太多的繁忙，夜间的我好似分裂成多个我，多个我发出各自有着不同的声音，更多的象是别人的声音。于是乎很难将我追求的独特在这一时段创意出来。 我更喜爱清晨，早早的起身，一杯香浓的咖啡，几曲美妙的轻古典音乐，任100%的自我在这清静中自由的呼吸，创意也自然被唤醒。 4月21日，一张由William签名的CD，终于寄来了！ William的音乐真美！把我带回了那初夏湖边的清晨，湖水在凉凉的空气中蒸腾起雾......William钢琴倾泻着美妙的音符，是清晨的流水，在宁静中自由而从容不迫的张扬...... |
William Lavigne, Composer William Lavigne was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario where he began piano studies at an early age with Norma Luck. He is a graduate of the music program of Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario where he studied voice with Marion Harvey and piano with John Hannah and Valerie Candelaria. After moving to Toronto, William furthered his musical studies at the University of Toronto, studying voice with Bernard Diamant and Patricia Kern. William was a member of the Canadian Opera Company chorus from 1991-2001, and has also studied piano, harmony and counterpoint through the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. William currently resides in Toronto. Awakening…the debut CD by Toronto pianist/composer William Lavigne is a wonderful collection of easy listening, original classical piano compositions that are sure to bring pleasure to those who enjoy listening to solo piano music. |
